Job Description
A growing drinks producer and distributor is now looking to expand their team and as such are now looking for an experienced Foodservice National Sales and Account Manager to be based in South East London. Their authentic drinks are supplied to retail and foodservice channels both in the UK and overseas.
 
They are looking for a Sales Manager to grow existing accounts, both in the UK and N. Ireland foodservice sector, and secure new accounts. This is an exciting time in the brand with introducing new products and the continued growth of the sector.
 
Main Responsibilities.
The incumbent will report to the MD 
You MUST have previous experience in managing existing foodservice partners and generate new business.
The right candidate will also develop and put in place sales strategies necessary for achieving sales targets.
 
  • Grow key national accounts.  Target to be agreed
  • Secure new contract caterers
  • Secure an airline with the In Cup solution
  • Secure a major foodservice customer and coffee chain for the Ready To Drink 
  • Secure foodservice business within in the retailers
  • Grow the vending business,  Target to be agreed
  • Introducing new product lines into the existing channels 
 
WHAT THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY LOOKING FOR
EDUCATION                ESSENTIAL                                                                                           
  • Number literate including margin calculations                                  
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint                              
  • Excellent communication skills 
 
                                    DESIRABLE
  • Business Degree
 
OCCUPATION             ESSENTIAL     
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a foodservice sales      
role    
  • Proven results in developing new business and growing
accounts   
  • Demonstrate reporting systems to track sales
  • Demonstrate key wins of new accounts

  • List of industry contacts
 
SPECIFIC SKILLS                     
  • Sales and negotiation
  • Excellent networker
  • Understanding margins, RRP etc
  • Proposal writing skills
  • Detail orientation

  • Can work independently and part of a team
 
CIRCUMSTANCES        Travel around the UK as well as regular meetings in the office                                           
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
  • SALARY                           £45k per annum plus results based bonus scheme
  • HOURS                                       9.00pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch
  • HOLIDAY                        25 days holiday per annum
  • PLACE                             Office based and on the road
