Job Description:

My client are expanding their manufacturing operations and as such are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager.
 
Role: 
Persons employed in this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
·   Verification of incoming and outgoing product to ensure that it meets specification and quality requirements.
·   Supervision of the QC function.
·   Highlighting manufacturing process and product quality deficiencies, and driving the implementation of corrective actions associated with those issues.
·   Maintaining the QMS and ensuring adherence to ISO9001 standards.
·   Assisting in the development of system and process improvement.
 
Relationships:
Reporting to: Compliance Manager                Liaison with: All staff, suppliers and customers
 
Accountabilities:
·    Patrol auditing of the process, and reporting on quality performance to Senior Management.
·    The approval or certification of incoming raw materials.
·    Carrying out Process auditing.
·    Investigations into customer complaints, and agreeing / following up on corrective actions.
·    Establishing job quality requirements and translating this into works instructions.
·    Artwork approvals.
·    Maintaining calibration records.
·    Carrying out routine H&S activities.
·    Disposition and control of non-conforming material
 

Job Requirements:

Personnel Requirements:
 
Qualifications /Attainments
Essential:
Good GCSE level passes in Maths, English and Sciences (mimimum)
 
Desirable:
Degree / HND/HNC - Science related.
Quality Management training.
 
Relevant Experience
Essential:
Experience working in  a manufacturing environment.
Worked in a Quality environment in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
